Bulleid Q1 controls randomly ceasing to work

I've been running the scenario where you have to water up the loco and then transport a mixed train of planes, tanks, pipes and some other stuff and when I was on my way, suddenly the loco stopped to make any change in sounds when applying controls, and soon after, it ceased to react to any keyboard input.
Anybody ever encountered this problem before?

Just played this without any issue. ("A proper Charlie" / Somerset Dorset Railway)

Are you playing Simple or Expert Controls? And the loco in Standard or Advanced mode?

This problem seems to occur at random on the S&D route. Nobody quite knows why.

This problem seems to occur at random on the S&D route. Nobody quite knows why.

I had an issue of that kind on East Midlands Coal. Correcting an error in its TemplateRoute blueprint fixed this.

If it is Q1 scenario 1 then I've just run it again in Expert/Advanced mode with no problems at all. Maybe you have a dodgy download, try this;

1. In your games list, right click TS then left click "Properties".
2. On next page go to DLC tab.
3. Next page type Bulleid in search box. Find Q1 in list and un-tick the "Installed" box.

Close TS and Steam, wait a minute then re-open both.
Repeat 1, 2, 3 above and re-tick the install box.
Then be patient until Steam does its thing. Do nothing else on your PC.
This will give you a clean install of the Q1. When done give it a try.
