Help please
How do I pick up water from the troughs with the Castle please

I think it does it automatically. Not a 100% sure though, sorry.

Pages 38 and 39 in the "Riviera Line in the Fifties" manual has some good information. Basically you use CTRL+T to lower the scoop. If you don't raise the scoop before you reach the end of the trough, the scoop will break.

As above, but don't think it can be done with the Castle Loco.:steamsad:

Scenario 3.9 09 [Castle] Running Half Empty requires the use of the water troughs, so this should be ok for the Castle that comes with the route. There is also a note in the manual that says that all of the tender locomotives included with the route have working water scoop apparatus.

Hello, as stated above, CTRL plus T keys lowers and raises the scoop with Castles so fitted with operational water scoops.

Another option is choose 'foot plate view'. Turn around, so you look backwards, to the tender. There are two cranks. The one on the left is to operate the scoop (the one on the right is the hand brake). You can operate the crank clicking your mouse. Have fun!
