Installation error, DTG has noticed it and posted a statement that they are looking into it and are trying to fix it. You should probably wait some time, It usually takes a day or so, several days in rare cases.

DTG’s lack of quality control strikes again! Seriously, I’m surprised so many people seem to be buying this immediately given their history. Better to let someone else be the guinea pig and see whether there are breaking bugs (think Tehachapi Pass braking issues that still aren’t resolved AFAIK).

I work in financial services. If I were to show this kind of blatant disregard for quality control, people would lose millions of dollars in seconds and I would be facing charges for violations of securities regulations. Why do you defend people charging a premium price for a sub-standard product?

Train Simulator, or this new DLC? Of course I own Train Simulator. I have the base game plus 98 DLC packs from Steam, and a number of steam locos from Caledonia Works. I don’t have the Huddersfield Line DLC, because I’ve learned that DTG has a history of releasing things in a broken state. You’re better off waiting to see if the inevitable issues at launch will be fixed, and waiting for a sale to get stuff you really want.

The fact is, pretty much every route has issues, and if anything, quality seems to be dropping for newer routes. And that’s before you start looking at things that were broken by updates (e.g. the update to the new Chatham Main Line that makes it impossible to avoid ride quality penalties in one scenario, or the update to the UP GTEL so it isn’t running at the start of scenarios, making Sherman Hill scenarios impossible to complete on time).

What scenario in the Chatham mainline out of interest i have managed to complete most of them so far

It’s “10. [377/1] 5Z72 1102 London Victoria to Faversham”. When this route was released, the scenarios all worked. Danny tested them himself. It was actually one of the better quality routes. Sadly, this scenario was broken by an update.
