Sorry am I reading something wrong here?

Dave, this is a complex train. It has many alarms and features that the real 390s have. I reccomend you have a thorough read of the manual, watch others drive it on YT and maybe try and set it up in the most simple way possible for your first few runs until you get a feel for the train. (E.G turn off DRA or DSD as described in posts above.)
If you go over speed limit by certain mph then you will get a warning that can't be cancelled, you need to bring speed down, few more mph over limit and you will get e-brake.
Then you have the brakeing curve, it's based on approximately brake notch 4, leave braking too late for a slower speed limit and you will get an alarm plus flashing warning light, so you would need to use brake notch 5 or 6, ignore it and then I think you get a solid warning light with no alarm, the e-brake will then come on. Best to read the TASS section in manual.
