Driver Vigilance System Disabling?
I had some help from a player earlier about what the driver vigilance was, and to press Q to disable it, however I am fedup of Driver Vigilance and I want to know how to remove it if possible.
I have been researching on how to turn on the alarm sound outside of the cabin, which I believe you can do, however I am just simply sick of the Driver Vigilance, and I'd be more than happy if someone was able to tell me.
Thanks.

I don't think you can fully disable it.

So, do you know any way to stop it from slamming on my emergency brake? I don't really care if I have to do it each time i enter the game, I'd just love for it to stop.

If it is a UK train then you just have to keep watch for the alarm.

I know that MSTS have this option where you can disable this, but I think TS doesn't have such option at all.

Just watch out for the beep beep. I have to deal with the AWS all the time, screaming in my ears when passing a speed restriction/yellow signal or whatnot.

I noticed the Class 31 AWS system doesn't make a sound at all, playing on the Settle-Carlisle route.

It actually depends on the train you are driving. Some have an option to turn the DVS off. Just have a look into the manual of the train you want to disable the DVS. If it isn't mentioned in there, chances are (very) high, that it isn't possible to deactivate it.

So, seeing that mallard is scottish, that means I will just have to look out for the alarm, but as MountainMan said, I should have a look into its manual to see if it does have an option to disable it. Thanks for the replies people, I really appreciate that people have taken the time to reply to this.

It's a good thing that real drivers can't disable it just because they get fed up with it. Then we really would be in trouble on the way to work! Now, I wonder why they call it train SIMULATOR and not Train GAME?

I can imagine why someone would disable it in real life too. All the beeping is bad if you lay in bed at night trying to sleep you will contantly hear a beep. Just like tinnitus :O

I never heard it at night while trying to sleep.

in UK trains, AWS reset with Q, Dead Man Handle when you hear the alarm press NUM ENTER to reset, this generally, if yoy have a product purvhased in a 3rd party website, you should check the manual to know which key to use
