TS 2019 - 64 bit

How do I activate the 64 bit version. I'm just showing 32 bit.

Has it downloaded from steam? It should give you the option of 32 or 64 bit on start up.

steve,click on play button in your library, if it gives you a choice, 32 or 64.thats the wy to make sure your in 64 bit

Press 'play' in steam and you will be given the 32 or 64 bit option.

Got It. Thanks guys. I was hoping my frame rates would improve I don't notice any difference.

It depends on your system. I am now playing with all settings maximized and noticed a very slight increase in rates, extremely minor stuttering in dense areas with enhanced locomotives. Overall the best thing DTG has ever done. I smell someone saving bacon with this. Now on to fix some of those old bugs.

I deinstall the 32 Bit version and install it new, but there is no choice for 64 Bit. Why is it so difficult to download the 64 Bit version???

Once you have the 64-bit version installed, go to the "railworks" folder, right click the file "Railworks64.exe" and press "send to". Select desktop (create shortcut). You can then boot up the 64-bit version from your desktop. More conveinent than loading it from Steam.

I put a 64 bit icon on the desktop by right clicking Railworks64.exe. When I click on it I am told to log in to Steam. Game doesn't start as before by giving me option to play online or offline. I have to start Steam via desktop.

I don't know why you're getting this. When I double-click the icon, it boots up TS-64bit editon.
Are you utilizing the set_up audio.bat file also located in the raiworks folder? If not, locate this file and send it to the desktop. Select option 2, "Setup Audio for Train Simulator 64-bit".

The download is automatic.

You may have Steam to start automatic when booting computer. I do not

TS 2019 includes Both the 32 and 64 bit versions. They are Not seperate downloads. Why did you uninstall the version you already had?? There is no need to do that at all as it would have been automatically updated to the new TS2019 32 and 64 bit edition.

Go to the library tab and start it from there. It will give you the option of 32 or 64 bit. If you still have issues use the TS2019 FAQ link. There is a lot of information there.
