Unfortunately, their closing up shop, I believe, does not make sharing their content legal. I am surprised they didn't just send the rest to DTG and ask them to sell them on Steam and take the little profit they would get without their own site.

Thanks for that link, I found his "Thanks for all the fish" thread in there. I find it strange he never put his other content on Steam, or at least made it available as freeware after retiring the site. Do you know if his other content has made it out somewhere? I'm assuming he has cut off contact completely with the community, also.
Perhaps DTG acquired the catalog and will release them in time. Who knows?
Not that I call one release a week "spacing out releases"...
