US freight car sounds

Hi all

A couple of questions.

Anyone know of any good replacement us freight car sounds? Or how to make all freight cars sound like the ones that come with Sherman Hill?

And on the same site, you'll find extra downloads that enable use of said sound pack to work on some of the more recent US route releases.

I did use that but the horseshoe curve route didn't like it and did a temp dump.

If you're willing to get familiar with the game's file directory structure, you can manually install the files for the routes you have, and leave out HSC if necessary. You can extract RWP files like ZIP files, then copy the relevant folders over.

Krellnut's wagon sound pack is great, i added to all my US routes

Same here. I do not hear any flange squeal with Krellnut sounds but you can set wheel flat spots in the adjustments. This does add a certain dimension.

Sadly, I can't make them work with that route either.
