Report a translation problem
For some reason Western Mainlines includes track for all of the extensions that go with that route. It took me a while to figure out this was the reason for missing scenery.
I'm not a UK native so I have no direct familiarty with the real Western Mainlines. I'm guessing that the real-world platforms have the stopping signs. I don't know why JT did not include them in the simulation.
Which stations?
They are probably included in one of the extensions, so you won't see them until you purchase the extension.

The fact there is track included beyond that is completely irrelevant and doesn't make the product any less complete.
