Cambrian Coast Route in Progress

Hello everyone,
I am currently making the Cambrian Coast Route in Wales. I am first going to be building Machynlleth to Aberystwyth. Should I then build Machynlleth to Pwllheli or Machynlleth to Shewsbury?

I would be really interested to hear any progress on this route.
I've not done any route building myself, as yet, but am really thinking about diving in.
So with Shrewsbury - Machynlleth being our local route, it would be my obvious first attempt. Or would that be biting off too much to start with?

Hiya,

I had to cancel the route as I have had other more important commitments. It's still an idea that I might do and I know of someone else who is also heavily considering taking a shot at it. You're obviously more than welcome to try it however I wouldn't suggest Shrewsbury > Mach being a starting point as it's quite sparse in terms of intermediate stations and so people may get bored of the runs easily, especially Caersws > Mach.

I dream of a Cambrian Railways 0-6-0 reboilered by the GW appearing for TS but I suppose there is no chance of that.

I had a version with track from Machynlleth to Aberystwyth and only partial scenery from Machynlleth to Dovey Junction and no terrain so not really worth it

Nice to know. I used to like Cambrian Coast route in MSTS, which had exceptional quality and stunning views (by MSTS means)
