Farvie was correct, it is was the vigilance alarm, a device on most high speed/modern trains that sounds every once in a while. Press ''q'' to acknowledge, as with the AWS. There is a turorial on driving the class 395 in ''standard'' scenarios, and I advise driving with sound/ in cab to allways be there when it activates.
