My Sound Mods for Train simulator 2017 will not work
I played train simulator one day, then when the scenario opened, the NJT alp 46, alp 45dp, and the multilevel cab cars were back to original sounds, I think I deleted something. if I did, what did I delete and how can I fix it?

You can uninstall those DLC's you are having issues with by unchecking the tick box listed on your TS library page. Reboot steam and re-check the dlc box to force a redownload of that same DLC.

OR

You can verify ALL your TS game files by:

Right click your TS install listing in your library
Choose Properties
Choose Local Files
Choose Verify integrity of game files.

This will redownload all the game files again including those you may have deleted. Just be aware if you have 3rd party addons/file changes/DLCs this process may ovewrite some of those files back to their original state and would therefore require you reinstalled those DLC etc..

It may take number of minutes to complete this action.

Also doing this - if you're running a freeroam scenario all your stock movements can be reset even though you've saved them......though being TS sometimes not.

And where does this njt soundpack come from? You really should give all the details instead of needing to be to be asked for them...

If your sound pack was installed by changing files inside the .ap you will loose these modifications every time you file verify or reinstall. If your sounds are located external to the .ap they should not change unlewss something is corrupted. Do you have a backup copy of your Railworks you can copy files from? This is one reason to have a total backup of your Railworks folder or your steamapps folder.

Usually a 250 GB external drive (USB 3.1 SSD preferred) or dedicated internal drive is sufficent for most Railworks folders. Simply copy your Railworks folder to it. Copy and paste.
