I'm not sure what their plan is. The content could simply be removed outright, relaunched without branding like some USA routes or get permission from the new company later on.

In terms of Virgin livery locos there was a few that could've been done as add-ons like the Class 86, 87, 90 + DVT and 57 but also a opportunity to redo the WCML North and WCML over Shap routes.

For what I have seen from DTG conduct, releasing non-branded locos is possible, but changing existing locos to a non-brand state, this has not happened.
So hurry and buy all the Virgins you can get

Already bought the last add-on I needed so I'm good.

No chance, if anything this is Virgin Trains having a tantrum, again.
First Group have no control over Virgin's brand, and they cannot enforce where and how Virgin use their brand.

But to them, these multi Billion £££ companies, we are so so small fry. Why should some other software company be making money off of the virgin trains licence, when Virgin themselves won't be?

I think less of a tantrum, more can't be bothered to re-new terms of a licence. It's an absolute minefield, and I'm amazed so many routes get created.

Guys it's probably down to what was signed in the original contract. This happens all the time to game soundtracks or licensed properties. I highly doubt arch overlord Richard Branson is out to screw over Train Simulator nerds.

If State of Decay can go from a discount of 80% to 90% then these DLC's go @ 90% off on final day. I have enough to buy these DLC's @ 90% off.

A couple of years back during a Christmas sale they had a fairly new add-on go for 90% off by accident and that lasted about a day or two before being fixed. But since the Virgin Train add-ons are a couple of years old, 75% off isn't too bad.

The content you buy is yours to own and won't be taken off you. It just means that any content you haven't bought past the deadline will be unavailable.
