Uninstall APs lighting effect pack
Um....I really don't like it, yellow clouds, a band of blue between ground and clouds and the poor old mountains in the dales have become these light blue cut out things - poor Pen-y-Ghent - poor Ingleborough - poor Whernside - how do I uninstall it as it doesn't come with an uninstaller.

You can't. If you didn't back anything up beforehand, you will have to reinstall any files that were overwritten.

Oh blimey - I have backed up, but a long while ago - not before I installed this pack....Doh! In my defence I've always liked AP's stuff so didn't expect an issue.

You could see which assets it affects see the manual - the mod is on a folder called "time of day" and then using the "View Downloadable Content" untick those assets and then retick them so they are re-built. HOWEVER, if there is an .ap file (AND ONLY IF THERE IS AN .ap file) for the Asset all you need to do is delete the "time of day" folder displayed and TS2018 will use the original lighting frpm the .ap file.

Phase3.....what can I say...you're a hero. I've only tried your suggestion with the Settle to Carlisle but yes it's done the trick - back to normal. I'll shall go through them all tomorrow and everything will be ticketty boo again. Silly of me I know but quite a relief - so a big thank you.

The issue with the lighting effect pack is not that complex - but on darker days or weather it colours the far away mountains light (sky) blue.....so they either look like sky, giving a unnatural line to the clouds or just look simply light blue .....or at least they do on my graphics card and having spent rather a lot of time in those particular mountains (Settle to Carlisle) I've never seen them light blue, so it just doesn't look right. I suppose it's a case of buyer beware - even a high quality firm like AP - not everything they do will enhance things on your particular computer.

Is this the station lighting enhancement pack you are referring to? If so then there should be a file called "Patch - No Lighting.exe" I tried running it and it say that it switches off the lighting effect.

Nope t'other one - I didn't get that, and I'm probably glad now I didn't

Oh right. Just realised I have that one as well. Never noticed the issues you have though. I hope you manage to get it sorted.
