I'm sure it is and if you say it's good and then it will be, and I know you like it........but this will shock you.......I don't have any lines it would have run on........and you know what I'm like about only running things in period and on lines they ran on.

SSS have a free Southampton-Weymouth route and a fine route it is. GWR & BR WR used that line to reach Brighton. I have pictures of Castles etc at Bournemouth Central. 205s also would be seen on that route, so there's no excuses not to get it. :-))

I have been tempted by that many times......but I have no Southern steam.......though given how much AP stuff I've just bought I think I'm going to be covered in dirty diesel for a while.....a filthy job but someone has to do it ; )

Thanks for the heads-up about the AP sale. I'd never have known about this as I very rarely visit the sight unless I decide I want something.

Considering w'ere all registered with AP I'm surprised we don't get an email notification because they could potentially miss out on a lot of, ahem,..Sales. (No Pun Intended).

...though I have already been grinding over the Pennines on Woodhead with the 40 and think I might swap AP's 37 with in on a few of the Wherry lines scenarios - it will make an interesting comparison........like I say a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

Bloody good though isn't it - the best diesel on TS?

Agreed, but the best DEMU is the 205 and for the price of a couple of bottles of cheap plonk it's a snip.
