newcastle, its just the quickdrive scenario, i bought JT newcastle/york modern route and it works fine with that dlc, seems its just railworks own route thats broken
- On this route (and others from the 2007/2012 pack) the default scenarios have a few leftover triggers. Even the free roam forces me into the siding - even if the switches are aligned for the mainline, right after crossing the signal, they change and G doesn't help. Some trains don't trigger it, though.
- A frequent thing on any route, if the siding is even a millimeter shorter than the mainline, the game will send you there, unless there is an instruction (usually hidden) to go through that specific mainline section. Regardless of speed limits. Also happens on Fort Kent, Colton & Northern, Canadian Mountain Passes. Some routes may avoid this using direction markers. So, if I set up a scenario for CMP, starting at Eldon, next target Revelstoke, I'll be routed through a few sidings. As an author I have to check the path specifically and use / add markers to ensure my train goes where I want it to.
