Ride an AI train?
Having great fun here with the first hours learning an playing the sim. I think is really nice and will give a positive review for sure.

I start to test the editor (in many games with editors I pass more hours there than actually playing, normal hehe)

Please is it possible to ride an AI train at passenger cabin? Just sit there and enjoy the landscape and have a virtual drink?

I want to recreate a travel I did in 2013 from Gatwick to Victoria station but don't want to drive the "460" train just ride.

I did the "-followaitrain" command that I found searching forums but that one only shows the AI train from the outside and ride from there (still a great option) but when I click on it I enter the driver cockpit (train auto stop for let you control it) or go to the passengers cabin but still have to actually drive the train and the pleasure trip just stops.

Thanks for any tip and sorry for my poor english (incredible but true but I survived with it in my London adventures, oh! I remember now that toy/hobby store there with a true electric trains paradise, here we don't have shops like that)

As far as I know, passenger views will not be loaded for AI trains, so you won't be able to access this view in an AI train. That being said, the Albula Line DLC comes with some passenger view missions, where you just sit in the coaches and watch the scenery. I don't own this DLC so I'm not sure how they have done this and if it only works with the Albula coaches or if you could use this 'passenger mode' with every other train.

The passenger mode thing is actually special scripting done by the devs to where the player train is controlled by the computer, allowing you to sit back and relax. HeyJoe on the workshop has done this scripting before, it'd be worth asking him about it if you want to try using ".lua" scripting in scenarios.

You could try -allowJump (Allows jumping AI trains in scenarios) as a command line option it used to work in previous versions of TS.
From Marc on RWA
"It's a little awkward to do in-game, but with that command line option activated you can <ctrl>-left-click on an AI train and you'll be following that train in an outside camera view. I've done it a few times but I don't use it on a regular basis. You can jump back to your own train by pressing any normal camera key, like 1 for cab view or 2 for external flying camera. It's easy to try, but I get confused easily when there are a lot of AI trains."

Phase 3, I don't know if you're aware of me frequently blethering on about not being able to move to locos not in line of sight whilst in freeroam. I have a bee in my bonnet about it because I hold to the view that freeroam is the real power of TS, scenarios are just a facet of freeroam, but without being able access locos at other locations freeroam playability is hamstrung.

Are you saying there's a way of getting this command line -allowJump whilst within the scenario and is it possible the crtl left click could be used beyond line of sight to get you into and driving other locos within your scenario?
