Coupling issue

Hi there,

I was having an issue with coupling.
Example, I was hauling 4x MK1 passenger coaches in my class 37. I stopped in a siding and uncoupled from the carriages. I then drove to the other end of the carriages and tried to couple up there. However, it didnt give me the option on the coupling screen where the map usually is. Any ideas?

So on the coupling section of the HUD (the control interface) there is no icon to show the coaches or that the loco has made contact with the coaches? Try going in free cam to the coupling between the loco and the coaches. Hover your cursor over the coupling and if the coupler icon appears, click and see if that works.

Thats correct, there is no icon to show contact made. I will try that

Save the game, close it down, then reload it from "resume". Often works.

Also had this problem with coupling to some coal wagons went to settings had auto coupling and allow all coupling ticked unticked auto coupling solve the problem with the senario i was trying to do may be worth you trying
