TS2017, Shenfield to Liverpool street, London

Everytime i try to complete this route, I get to liverpool st ON TIME but i get stuck at a red light Just outside liverpool st and I cannot contact the signalman or pass the red light !! What am I doing wrong ??

Is this on GEML? All scenarios seem to work on GEML. Sorry I hope these aren't daft questions, how long have you waited for it to change? And is it definitely the a red for your line, I find coming into Livepool street sometimes a bit hard to tell which signal is for which line. F2 first and then you could try TAB to get signal permission to go through it.

It could also be caused by the fact that you saved/resumed the scenario at some point. You cannot save in certain scenarios, because it messes up the signals and/or causes AI crashes/derailments. Unfortunately, DTG do not tell us which scenarios are affected, perhaps they don't know? Anyway, if that is the reason, trying running the entire scenario without saving.

sandy is correct, even though I was late arriving at Liverpool Street, the final signal is red and you need to Tab to get permission to proceed further.

Hey Guys, Thanks for all your advice... I tried TAB but it still didnt work, I have sat at that signal for over 10 minutes.. Not sure what I am doing wrong.. I too have arrived both late and early but again, no change to that red light.. Yep i have confirmed that the red is my track light and tried other things but no matter what, that damn light stays red and if I cross it, it shuts me down immediately.. TAB does nothing, not even a permission denied message so I guess i am never gonna get my passengers home.. Thank you all again for the advice..

Is it official scenario when you start driving from Ilford to Shenfield and then back to Liverpool street? If yes there are two possibilities if you have red light before Liverpool street:
1) save scenario when you stand before red signal then load it
2) Tab BUT because you changing direction in Shenfield use shortcut for asking for pass red signal behind (ctrl+Tab (?))

same thing happened to me last year,even witha tab i had no joy & i gave up calling it every name under the sun !!!

I don't get it - there are loads of bugged scenarios, but that one is ok for me - how can it work for some but not others?

Hi Swoop, I just completed the scenario on GEML and had no issue. Only time I needed to ask for permission was quite early at the 1st stop before I could pick up the other waggons at the front. Then I've swapped cab until I headed in the right direction and had no need for any further tab'ing. Timelines are quite tight but doable. Max. score you can achieve is 980 points. For me it looks as if the scenario is OK as such, so I wonder what you do differently.

Yeah i dont know what I am doing wrong. The timetable is tight but I have always made it to liverpool street within a minute of the timetable time but still, even using ctrl+tab it still kills me if i pass through the only red light on my track... Its got me beat.. I will keep trying though !!! Thanks everyone for all your advice, it really is appreciated..

Have you looked on the 2D map to see if there is any thing that MIGHT be blocking your progress? Maybe even a junction incorrectly set? Just a thought....

just a suggestion i dont know weather it works or not but maybe go into the games setting and un-tick the box for passing red signal ends game make sure that is of
not sure weather that`ll solve it but maybe give it a try good luck
