Driving Notes
Headlight combinations can be cycled through using the H / Shift+H keys"
Literally no other tips on driving. It gives plenty for the Class 76, which is where I assume the majority of the work has gone however it is dissapointing there isn't any help with what was made to be a big part of this pack (seeing as we haven't seen this train before).
You may find some answers in here:
https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/train-simulator/articles/article/woodhead-in-blue-a-class-506-introduction
This also makes the second Class 506 scenario impossible to complete (Manchester Piccadilly to Hadfield). For some reason, as soon as I reach the drop-off point (the orange marker) to uncouple the rear train, the scenario immediately halts and tells me that I've failed, and to refer to the Academy for tips.
It doesn't give me any particular reason why I've failed since it didn't even give me a chance uncouple the train. Either it's because I'm late due to the strict timetable, or because this scenario is glitched.
Making matters worse I try to play in Quick Drive and I'm getting a Dump error that others have reported :(.
Given the complexity simulated and sheer dedication given..
To only have the 506 given a single bloody line in the driving manual, it looks like someone at DTG didnt meet thier deadline to copy and paste operational detail into the manual
Insulting poor show of otherwise beautiful machines and reputation..
Shame DTG, Shame
When trying to run the electric train on its own dedicated QD session id get a dump file error not any warning about track being unsuitable
Trying the same length of track from another starting marker with a diesel 03 loaded fine..
Im yet to try this new woodhead but it could be that simple
I am also having the same issues that greatscott reports with the 506. I might be wrong, but with the first 506 scenario I found if you can keep it under 100 amps (You need to constantly apply and re-apply power) then you can reach the higher speeds, Not sure whether above 100 amps the safety / overload is operating or it's wheelslip.
Try moving the Power lever back to off back each time befre re-applying power, You can't just move back one step like more modern electrics.
I don't have a problem with the Pro locos being made, but give us enough information to be able to drive them correctly, If you don't, everybody willl assume they are broken which might well be the case here.
The class 08 promised various different features ,but there seems very litte new within the cab that can be operated. For Example If you are going to implement different braking modes, at least explain what these are,how they work and when they should be used.
The instruction for Mottram Reception Engine Line is to drop off the rail vehicles 59404A1, 59506 and 59602A1.
The consist contains the rail vehicles 59406A1, 59507, 59607A1, 59404A1, 59506 and 59601A1.
You can never drop off the 59602A1, because it is not part of your conist...
