Train Simulator 18 Not Launching

hi i got train sim a couple of days ago on windows 10 and when i click on the game to play it doesnt launch.
help is greatly appreiciated

did you install all the c++ libs, thats the mos tlikely issue.

Hello jensonayres, you appear to have the older 2014 cheaper spec model of your Alienware 17 laptop, looking at your specs. Not a great deal of gaming processing power for more demanding modern gaming requirements or demanding older games like TS2018. However, you just about have enough graphical memory bandwidth to run TS2018 at lower in game settings, older less demanding and detailed TS routes will possibly run better.
Make sure your laptop is using your GTX 860M GPU and not your intergrated CPU HD4600 graphics chip. Read your laptop manual or find it on the web, to check your laptop graphics settings are set correctly.
If they are set correctly, try reducing your game screen resolution settings and ingame TS2018 graphics settings to 'low' and then work up one setting at a time, to better settings that still allow TS2018 to run without problems.

Hello, if you did not buy via Steam, where did you buy TS2018 from? Is it a legal copy of TS2018?
You appear to be having problems with your other games as well, are they legal too?

I bought it through G2A but I checked first to make sure it was legal and safe and after I did my research I found out that it was legal. All my other games are from steam

Hello, reading up about this site you obtained the key from in the link below, tells me you may possibly have bought a duff key already de-activated, so can't be used again, or one of the other reasons listed.
However, it may be your graphics settings or limited processing power (or both) causing you problems, as I pointed out in my first post to you. TS2018 is very demanding of your machine, despite being an older 32bit game. Especially if you have set graphics settings too high for your pc to handle, causing a crash/dump.
You did not respond to my first post at all. Have you checked your graphics settings are correct? Edit: Clearly Steam does not like this link below about the site you obtained your key from. People here will have to research G. 2. A them selves to pass opinion.

Personaly I wonder how this key could be invalid or deactivated as he clearly has the game installed.

Certainly not questioning your knowledge CB, but just interested.

Having read the article it is a warning based on grey areas and common sense and if you understand that and have some there is absolutely no reason (for me) to not use the site whatsoever.

Of course everyone must read it and make their own mind up.

Edit - Just looked at my records and I have used gtooA 12 times, one key was already used and was sorted by a simple email.
