There are manuals for the DLCs, who knew?
Watching a Youtube video the commentator mentioned there is amanual for the OBB 1116. I'd like to read it. I bet there are other manuals for other DLCs. How do you get them?

They are in the manual folder where you installed Train Simulator. Check your Steam settings to find out where Steam installs your games.

... steam/steamapps/common/railworks/manuals/EN/..
Depends a bit on where you install the game.

The easy way to find them is to click on Settings from the Train Simulator main menu, then Tools, then View Manuals.

Strange, works perfectly for me every time. Did you change any default paths when you installed TS?

Works fine here too. Although I have seen others say the same as Farvie, strange.

Button does nothing for me. But I created my own folder for Steam to install games in. Perhaps that messed it up. If so, pretty bad programming to assume people install their game in the default folder.

I mostly get manuals from the store pages. That way I can link them to others who want to find them, and also view DLC which I do not own.

Just out of curiousity, do you have 32-bit or 64-bit Windows (have you got C:\Program Files or
C:\Program Files (x86) )?
Not working for me.

My game is installed through D drive and not C.

I'm wondering if it's hardcoded to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Manuals, so on a 32-bit Windows, or a non-default installation, it wouldn't work.

I can't get to the manuals from in game either and not all the store pages have links to the manuals or am I not looking hard enough? I push them across to my iPad so they can be consulted as needed. I haven't looked at them much though appreciate that they're there and, now I have the Woodhead route and the Tommies, something tells me I'm going to be doing some reading.

I believe that some are a little hidden away in a corner of the web page or something, but I have been able to find most of them online. If not, typing in ''Train Sim [loco/route name] manual'' normally does the trick :)
