Full Northeast Corridor Route
We've got New York to New Haven, NEC Corridor (New York to Philadelphia). All we are missing now is the New Haven to boston and philadelphia to Washimgton routes. This will actually complete the entire Northeast Corridor route in real life. I've watched Youtube videos of Amtrak rides to these destinations and I've discovered that I must have them. I see all these other routes that are not that good in gamplay and it leaves me wanting these 2 routes even more. I love long 2 to 4 hour routes. To me, they are the best designed. They seem more stable then the shorter routes and they have so much more things to see, exprience, and achieve. Why are there so many European routes and very little American rotues?. In New York and around New York, there are tons of great routes to explore with Metro North, LIRR, NJ Transit, and Amtrak. I love the European routes especially the highspeed ones. Its just there is no balance between the two contienents and cultures of the railways. The U.S. is just as big as Europe.

I've got 26 payware US routes in my collection; that's a fair few! ;) Some of these also happen to be by far the longest (mileage wise) in the game. Plus, there's also the new Peninsula route I haven't yet added to my collection.

Yes, the US is large country, but sorry to break it to you the World doesn't infact revolve around the US. Europe has approx three times the population of the States and comprises approximately 50 countries (many of which aren't represented in TS2017 at all!). So it's all about supply and demand, and total potential sales. You should also remember that the developer (DTG) is a British company; it's therefore considerably easier (and probably cheaper) for them to create routes in countries closer to home; since a lot of detailed physical (on the ground) research goes into the development of many routes. I do though expect though we'll see plenty more US routes in coming years being developed for TS2017. And you'll be pleased to see that it looks like the new Train Sim World game is going to biased towards American content. All the best.

Only thing is, they can't be merged due to the tile numbers. -_-

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. Those were things I did not know. If it's a money thing than I definitely understand. As far as merging routes, I was speaking towards seperate individual routes. For example, New York - New Haven. I was thinking they could create a New haven - Boston route and a Philadelphia - Washington route. The same way they have a Hamburg - Hanover route and they have a seperate Hamburg - Lubeck route. It would simply be a continuing saga based on the Northeast Corridor and the New New York - New Haven routes already created. Just my personal vision for a super route.

Go into the workshop and search for Boston. You'll see 2 New Haven to Boston routes both from the same author, the one not marked preview channel is the more stable. Note it does require other DLC's. So all we need now is Phili to Washington.

There was about 3 attempts at the Philly-DC section, all gave up. So, I'm holding out hope that DTG will put their hand on it for the current sim (TS 20xx). As they have started to improve their style of route building. The NH-BOS sections, both versions are being worked on. One which has some scenery around the stations mainly, and the Preview, which is has better terrain accuracy, but needs scenery alignments done. The individual who started them, also gave up out of frustration with the building tools.

Please stop bringing up old posts, essentially spamming for the LIRR. It pushes other posts out of view. Thank you.
