Preventing mouse cursor from appearing on screen

I use the x-box controller to drive my trains but sometimes, for certain locos, I still need to utilize a key on the keyboard for a specific function. Whenever I press a keyboard key, the mouse pointer appears right in the middle of the screen, and then to get rid of it, I press the "B" button on the controller, only to have to repeat this procedure each time I press a keyboard key. It's pretty annoying.

So my question is, is there any way to prevent the mouse cursor appearing on the screen after pressing a key on the keyboard? I always use full-screen mode.

Thanks. It does work. However, since I only have two hands, I have to set the controller down, hold the right mouse button down while, at the same time, press the keyboard key with a finger on my other hand, which takes more time and effort than just pressing the "B" key on the controller.

Not a practical solution long term but I appreciate the input.

Can you move the cursor?
I always move my mouse cursor all the way to the right side of the screen, so I don't see it.
