Report a translation problem
The problem is caused by two AI trains - SN02 and SN09. They collide in Platform 19 at Victoria, causing the scenario to end. The fault appears to be because AI train SN09 fails to stop at a red signal (VC238) at the approach to Victoria. This signal is protecting train SN02 which has not yet left the platform.
I solved the problem by cloning the scenario and removing train SN02 from Platform 19. The scenario then works fine.
Incidentally, because the original scenario came with the Chatham Main Line DLC, it cannot be removed or altered - you get the message "Save disabled" if you try and save any changes. Does anybody know how to get round this. Locking and then unlocking the padlock doesn't seem to work.
Thanks!
This happens on a few occasions with scenarios in official DLCs. In my view it is unprofessional not to check that scenarios work properly before releasing them.
I always check and double check any scenario I put on the workshop to be sure it works properly.
I'm fairly new to this game. What is the best way to search for a workshop scenario that I can play given the DLCs I have available?
When I write a scenario, I always list what's needed as part of the description.
(Of course there is no discrimination at all so there are scenarios for other routes that use assets from the W&T and no way to rule out scenarios that require assets you don't have so it is still necessary to trawl through the list of results but it's a start.)
It is possible to complete this if you're really quick and reach your destination before the AI collision occurs.
I tried the scenario again yesterday and it still crashed - but when I tried it yesterday I was halfway along the platform at Victoris when the AI crash occurred. If I'd been 1 minute quicker I would probably have completed it.
I did a workshop version that fixes that (the best that I can do at the moment to fix it)

No it wasn't - the original version didn't have the Southern 377s in the route - those only came in with a patch! :)
Interesting, thanks for your response. I guess Growler and I must have arrived at Victoria early?
