York - Peterborough route
Hi
I have originally bought the East Coast York - Peterborough modern route from Creative Rail but I accidentally deleted it when I had to re-install Train Simulator... Now there is zero way to obtain that route from Creative Rail as their site has since bugged out, whereby the site won't register your details or remember log-in details.

Is there some other studio or person that has created this route?

Keep installation files for anything like this... Can't you use the "contact" form on their website? Or if you have a Facebook account, contact them that way.

Now would be a good time to contact them, as they have just released this route today on Steam.

I got mine directly from Just Trains: https://www.justtrains.net/product/newcastle-to-york-modern-download

Additionally, you can pick up the Newcastle to Edinburgh addon to complete the route:

Despite the fact it was just released via DTG, the Peterborough-York route is part of the spring sale over at the DTG store and currently recieved a 30% discount.

@GreatScott84: You do realize, that the route you linked is NEWCASTLE to York, not PETERBOROUGH to York? ;-)

York to Pterborough is a completely different route to any that are from Just Trains. With the two routes mentioned above from Just Trains you can now drive all the way from London to Perth in Scotland using 5 different routes from Dovetail & JT

Whoops! I misread the original post. Thanks for pointing it out :)

Anyways hope the links are helpful for those wanting to complete the route.

Well, three of them are already linked in this thread...another one would be London Kings Cross-Peterborough. It's from DTG and you can find this one in the Steam store. The fifth one would be the Scottish East Coast Mainline from Just Trains:

EDIT: This is a reply to SimulatorDaz. He obviously deleted his post while I was writing mine...

I just purchased this route and did a quick drive from Peterborough to York. Kinda boring really, except for the parts around Peterborough, Doncaster and York. Actually, there was a lot of AI traffic, which I have found unusual for a quick drive, and for that I assume thanks are due to Creative Rail. There are only 9 scenarios not 10, and they can be found in career under York-Peterborough Modern (Complete). I did not gain any locos as I previously owned them.

Rather than buying the Newcastle to York Modern, DP Simulation (who I think actually did the version sold on Just Trains) has a more up to date version on his website. You need the original Newcastle to York line and the GEML, there are some quite extensive track additions on this version also.

Has the steam ver received any scenery update at all Scouser? I have the original CR route which has 2D trees, bushes etc, not a 3D tree in sight. Just wondered if anything has been improved with Steam ver?

Would like to know too.

Just seems to be added stock and scenarios. Route improvements seem to be only a few infrastructure adjustments to fix issues present from the original route such as electrification in certain areas. Therefore no trees but I'm happy to be corrected.

That said, someone has said on UKTS that someone had contacted Creative Rail regarding the differences and they were sent a small patch to update their version.

Thanks DP.

Thanks DPS, will keep with the original then, seems to work with WS ok.
