North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways

Hello everyone,

I thought I might as well post the news on here as some of you may be unaware of UKTS.

If you are interested in the narrow gauge lines of North Wales, there is now a freeware route and some custom built stock available from the UKTS library. It represents the often-requested Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways in full, from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog and Caernarfon.

You get more than 40 miles of narrow gauge running through varied scenery, all for free although a certain amount of DLC is required.

Which gauge do you use?

The real railway is 1'11.5" gauge but the TS route uses the Corris 2'3" track. Wider gauge locos can run on it without appearing too odd, so the 3' Clear Creek locos and wagons can run, just don't look too closely at the wheels!
