When exactly to acknowledge PZB?
So after reading and watching several guides for PZB, which did not really help me a lot, I figured I just go by trial and error, which goes better than I expected so far.

I'm using the DB BR155. I started out on Koblenz-->Köln and then Lübeck-->Hamburg after. On those routes, I only had to acknowledge whenever a distant or main light signal gave me a speed restriction or danger aspect. I didn't have to acknowledge anything else.

Now I ran Koblenz-->Trier and I got emergency brake appliances for not acknowledging distant line speed restriction signs (the yellow triangle signs). One of them was a TSR. Ok, perhaps TSR are an exception, could be, I don't know. The second one was attached to the pole of a main light signal showing green aspect. That didn't make sense to me. It's still a yellow triangle, not a black one, so it's simply a line speed restriction that has no link to the light signal, isn't it?

Koblenz - Trier PZB bugs ? Believe me, I tried and tried to run your szenario with the BR 155, It was impossible to make it without emergency breaks. ( Semmering route has yellow triangles, advanced speed posts, and you have to acknowledge them. )

So to be on the safe side, acknowledge yellow triangles too?

As far as I know onlly Semmering Bahn ( advanced speed REDUCTION posts ) and Trier.

In reality drivers have to acknowledge distant line speed restrictions if they are below 90km/h (I think, could be 80km/h too).
You have to acknowledge every signal aspect which is not showing a green light, too. Unfortunately, most german routes don't have PZB magnets at the position of line speed restriction signs. Konstanz-Villingen comes with this feature, though. Also, there is an update of Munich -Garmisch out there, which not only comes witth a lot more scenery for the route, but also with things like PZB magnets at the correct positions.
