Waiting in the queue right now ;)
Hi here you go
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-search.php?form_exact_author=Moranb
I've followed all the steps as he has set out.
Thanks. I'll see if I can get it to work myself. This may take a while so sorry if I do not get back immidiately.
Well...10h 37min...
Enough time to think about some Halloween sale purchase
10h12min...
I just looked at the file sizes of the other files for that route...
Think I can test it in a week
I did notice that theere were a lot of pre-releases to this Irish route, do you have any of those? I don't know if they are terribly important but unfotunately the innstructions on UKTS are a bit vague to start off with.
As I wait for this file to download, would you mind maybe pasting the readme info if it isn't too long? Or maybe only the most important bits, just so I can see if there is anything that may be needed.
Thanks.
The Dublin route requires you own two payware routes i.e. The Isle of Wight, & Phorum Peninsula (aka Project Platform - a discontinued DLC). You're likely missing one or more of these, hence the missing track assets.
Thanks, saved me about a week of downloading.
A real pity, I would have liked to explore Ireland by train.
I do symapthise for those that don't have the Phorum Peninsula (Project Platform). It's a great shame DTG won't consider re-releasing it since such a great many fine freeware routes require these assets. A big loss for any new players that arrived on the scene after 2013. And a considerable blow to many route authors that can't now properly let others enjoy their creations, simply because this DLC was unexpectedly permanently withdrawn. Very much hoping one day DTG have a change of heart.
