Did you open the couple menu on the HUD, and click the two red parts?

Hey at last, someone experiencing a problem I have, but only with the Riviera 57xx. Do you have it with all locos? Sadly I can't offer a solution because no one seemed to know what I was talking about.
these are my own locos and just trains wagons , I have not had a problem before with this setup , just happening now,

Just a question - Are the couplers on the locomotive and cars compatable? Different rolling stock have different couplers. Also to help it would be good to know which engine, which cars and what route you are having the problems then the forum might be able to give some insight on a solution.
I coupled my loco to british mk 3 carriage and it coupled to the 3dzug sgjkkmms wagons ok , but loco will not couple direct to the zug wagons . it used to but not after I re downloaded them . can the zug couplings be changed they are chain type and my loco is u.s

In my case the Riviera 1950s 57xx Pannier - doesn't couple to anything. I don't have this problem with any other locos - Falmouth 57xx is ok and weirdly the Malmsbury 57xx too (which I believe is the same engine) is fine. All the coupling I use are the same and I have all coupling ticked in the options menu.

In the real world - no you can't couple them since they are dissimilar. There are settings in the sim that have to do with coupling, but I am away from my system now so can be certain. I think there is a setting that will allow you to couple dissimilar couplers

Yes there is - doesn't help for me though.

Would auto-coupling work?Thats assuming you hav'nt got it enabled
sometimes you just save and reload the senario if it worked before

I have the same problem as Broomwagon with the class '57xx' 0-6-0PT on the Riviera Line in the Fifties. It won't couple.

I recently created a scenario for the workshop called the Brixham Bunk where I intended the player loco to be a '57xx' pannier tank. I couldn't get it to couple up so used the class '35' Hymek diesel instead.

Glad it's not just me, I was beginning to think I was weird or something.
the problem seems to be the G12 loco , it is based on Horseshoe curve scenario which has "buckeye" couplings which seem to be incompatible with everything else.

With the Riviera 57xx Pannier I can couple to passenger carriages but not to freight wagons. I have tried changing the settings but of no help.
