LUA / OUT question
Would anyone know how (if possible) to convert a *.out file (back) to a *.lua file so that I have some reasonable chance of reading it ?

You can use Luadec, but it does not always work properly.

LUA scripts are converted into OUT files for the purpose of securing the data within. Many developers code custom features into their trains and then use them as a selling point for their products. Copyright protection.

Thanks for those replies. As it turned out I managed to read just enough info from the file using Notepad++. Reason being I wanted to do a little sort of 'back engineering' to create a feather with only 3 bulbs not the 5 as supplied by just about everyone else - and of course I needed to read the *.out file to in order to discover the naming convention used for the various parts of the signal. So I wont really be breaking any copyrights as such - just sort of adding an extra bit! Think I have it all figured out and working, just need to work on refining and cleaning up the actual model now.

EDIT: I am using those nice new signals from JT, by the way.
