Multi Track Drifting? What's that mean then? Skidding and sliding around different tracks like those cars do in those strange movies?

That's called "Splitting a switch". It's derailing a train by starting it up with a facing-point switch under it that is set to diverting.

And the point of it is what exactly ?

Not all junctions are manual.

Oh ya....that's cool...not. Just shows how bad the physics truly are within the game.

I said that about Joe Pasquale, Bill Oddie and the colour beige.

Happens in real life. Saw a photo a week or so a go of a loco with a boggie on one track and the other on another track.

I'd imagine it's possible. I've seen the memes and unless it's high speed it seems pretty pointless and boring to me. But then again I'm a grown man playing with trains so what do I know.

Glenn, splitting a switch is not something a rational person would do on purpose, but it can happen if one accidentaly builds a consist over a section of track that includes a switch set to diverting.

When I click on this video link, Steam always freezes but just this disscussion thread. I have to exit Steam and restart. I tried twich and the exact same thing happened. It appears to be a repeatable Steam discussion bug. I hope the Steam devs see this. I have noticed this problem on other game discussions for the past several months.

After I posted this I tried clicking on the link in my reply and that worked, but the original post dosn't... Weird.. Maybe its a bug in the forum program.
