I think it may be useful for you to read my Scenario Authors guide:

Your question is answered extensively in part I.

To Rudolf Jan.Thanks.You might have just saved me from the climbing walls.Using the route markers button and the pop out list worked perfectly. Thanks once again

....and why on earth can one not move between stations within (freeroam) senario in exactly the same way.....because naturally one might want to drive a different engine from a different station....but only Dovetail know the answer and don't seem to want to tell.

Currently stuck in Falmouth (admittedly not a bad place to be in 1957 on a warm July morning) having brought an early morning stopping milk train. My 57xx is getting water and driver gone off duty. Trouble is at Truro I have lots of freight needs taking to the docks and a shed full of motive power...but no way of getting there to drive it.

(other than get back in the 57xx and drive light engine all the way back to Truro....which rather defeats the point).

Just thought Id throw out a thanks to Rudolf Jan for the tutorial. Just followed the simple C47 passenger one and felt very pleased with myself. Going to do the freight next. Appreciated :)

And to what is this relevant?

Tezza - it's how you get to somewhere (whilst in the editor) via the 2d map.

Cheers for this. I was wondering if there was a quicker way to move between stations.
