Where's the full manual?
Ok there's a brief manual in the game files - tells you how operate train sim - how to drive trains. I'd like one that details what all the icons do in scenario creation....is there one, and if so where is it?

I guess that you are referring to the manual manual called TS 2017 user guide in DRIVE:\Folder\STEAM\steamapps\common\RAILWORKS\Manuals\EN ? Some others here DRIVE:\Folder\STEAM\steamapps\common\RAILWORKS\dev\Docs the latter not being updated too well. There used to some stuff on the DTG website?

There are many manuals, all in that fiirst folder listed above, including a very clear manual on scenario creation, and one on the Timetable Viewer that makes creation of standard scenarios almost as easy as creating free roams - for which that manual also provides a simple method..

I would also suggest going to the Guides tab at the top of page for more help and suggestions.

When my game updated to TS2017 I lost most of the manuals for some reason and have only been able to get some back. Thankfully I had uploaded most to my Adobe creative cloud.

Not sure exactly what manuals the OP (or others) are refering to to. But maybe the old Developer manuals that have not been available for a couple of years now? I still have those (all 52 pdf files), and recently I bundled them up into an rwp file to help someone out. Not sure whether or not I am going to break any rules here, step on someones toes or end up in some legal battle, but I have now put that rwp file onto a file sharing site in the hope that it might help someone else out here. To be honest, I have no idea why those developer files were ever discontinued. I know that they are now rather old, but they are still very relevant and work perfectly well (I still often refer to them when creating my custom assets etc for the route that I am building). So here goes then [Very deep intake of breath............] http://www.filedropper.com/developerdocs

Thanks Phase3 - looks like there are things of use in the dev/docs file. I didn't know they were there. Not what hoped for i.e a picture of each menu and icon and what it does....but some way there. Trainsim is Trainsim I suppose and it does things in its own way....which why the guides are good as rwday suggests....they've certainly helped. I couldn't get a great deal from those files glennives but probably more to do with me not being particularly techie.

Google that pdf file and you can dl it easily. eg mariefifi.com/Blog/file/RW_Creator_Manual_Web.pdf
