Install a route
HI
I have been trying to install a route (jylland 1.3) when i hit install and choose the file it says
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue the application will ignore the error and attempt to continue. If you click quit the application will close imemediatley"
If anyone knows how to fix it please help
Thanks

Tell us how you are trying to install it - then we MIGHT be able to offer an alternative method.

This could be a fault with either the Utilities.exe file OR the RWP file that you have downloaded (it IS an RWP file I assume?). I also assume that you have tried clicking to ignore the error? If yes, then what happens next? Do you get another error?

If it is not an RWP file then you will likely need to read any 'ReadMe' files that give install instructions. You could also 'un-pack' an RWP file (using something like 7-Zip)and then manually place the resulting files into the correct locations.

In the meantime, you could try running a 'file verify' from within Steam just to check that the Utilities file is OK.

OK. Tell us exactly where you downloaded the game from, and it's exact name

I had a look at that link above. It does appear that particular route is not without some problems. I was going to download the route and have a go myself, but then I see that I must sign up and register in order to download it and I am not prepared to do that.

And there is this remark at the bottom of the website page: I fixed it now! Emptied the cache, tried in 32-bit and that fixed it... i guess. 64bit is good too, i hope it'll stay like this now. Thanks for your help!
