Why good sir, I'm shocked, stunned, and aghast. Who could have possibly have foreseen this? I mean, besides anyone with the slightest hint of pattern recognition, but besides those kinds of people nobody could have expected such a thing to happen.
Although hopefully now that it's over these culture warriors will have learned their lesson and in the future will be more sceptical of grifters trying to drum up online drama for views, and-- oh, who am I kidding, that is absolutely never going to happen.
These kinds of people have been conditioned to needing to be constantly angry at some nebulous boogeyman whom they blame for everything they like, and to deprive them of their source of constant anger would be like depriving them of oxygen.
You're not wrong, and there are many people who are as blind as a mole, but don't worry, they'll quickly return to the charge, searching everywhere for any error to continue bothering and confusing people. I already knew that the collection was going to be good and that everything they said was nonsense.
I feel like the real Rival Schools 2 will never see the light of day outside Japan. Having the first game, the second game, and Project Justice all in one collection is what I originally thought they might've eventually done for Rival Schools.
I seriously wonder just how much text is in the school life mode in the first two games for them to really avoid translating it even today.
Thanks, I have no idea but if they haven't included all of them it's because the work isn't worth it since the selling price is low.
And yet I don't see you refuting anything I said in the slightest. Just some weak dismissal with the usual generalisation about Reddit, like that means anything.
I mean, I don't use Reddit, I've never had a Reddit account, but from what I can see of their front page they're doing exactly what every social media website under the sun is doing: pushing outrage and anger posts to the forefront (from the far-right Portuguese party too, from what I can see here), not because they're really "popular", but because they make people feel angry, and anger is the biggest driving force of engagement.
Anger gets people talking, it gets them upvoting (or downvoting, it doesn't really matter to them, you're still engaging with the site), it gets people sharing links with others, and it boosts their search engine visibility.
It doesn't matter if what gets pushed isn't true. It doesn't matter if its provably and objectively leading to people in general becoming dumber, with no capacity for critical thinking skills, and with the attention span of a goldfish. What matters is more engagement, so they get more traffic, and more ad-revenue.
So... what does "Reddit-tier reply" even mean anyway?
Exactly, they can't refute anything (the reviews are already there) and they will look for the slightest flaw or lack of content in a console version to get back on track, first it was the supposed censorship which as seen is ridiculous and non-existent, then it was the price which is expensive (when it costs you 5 miserable dollars or euros for each game) and now it's if they have all the console modes, which is obvious not since Street Fighter alpha 3 Upper doesn't have World Tour mode and surely Power Stone 2 doesn't have Adventure mode either, but for the rest they are all complete and uncensored, what's the problem? for me none but from what it seems for other people it is an insurmountable drama and they need medication and a psychiatrist.
If so, they will declare that the lack of censorship is the sole reason for success
- ("Capcom finally making games that Gamers (tm) want!")
If not, you'll see a variety of posts ranging from the more conservative goal posts shifts
- ("Well that's not counting international sales/console players/current economic situation")
to retroactive 'woke' labeling
- ("They should have never adjusted that milimeter of Mai's shoulder exposure. Go woke go broke!")
to some nutty conspiracy theories from some of the spicier culture warriors
- ("something something Blackrock something something "forced inclusion" something something "Nobody will let people make games for real Gamers (tm) anymore!")
Or they'll go with the Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 route, i.e. all of the above, at the same time.
Because judging by the grifter community that game is both:
1) A get woke go broke failure, and a complete disaster that showcases why "western games" fail. But it's also...
2) The game that "broke" the woke AAA videogames industry, a Real Game for Real Gamers (tm), and which totally embarrassed Ubisoft and AC Shadows. Because they're still obsessed about that game adding a historical black character that actually existed, and they'd really like to pretend like it wasn't an absolutely massive sales success[www.digitaltrends.com].
Cognitive dissonance just isn't a thing that affects these people. Must be nice.
