Updates:

- Intro has been completely overhauled.
- In-battle status now available for allies and foes alike
- Graphical overhaul. Enhanced lighting, smooth scrolling, cloud overlays & weather effects.
- New message and menu layouts. Visual item inventory added - affects in-battle inventory system as well.
- Better map visibility, more of the screen is now shown.
- Visible icons - quest NPCs are marked differently from chatter NPCs.
- New weapons, armour and other accessories like skill scrolls and card boosters.
- Rare drops added to many monsters.
- More Challenge difficulty settings, up to a max Danger Level of 28.

Hello my fellow sky-pirates and adventurers, your friendly neighbourhood Kitsu Ud0n here once again to crawl out of her fox den and share some updates!

I'm happy to announce that the version 1.1 update is coming along nicely and will release towards the end of this month, just in time for the Autumn sale ^^


The biggest change is that the intro has been completely overhauled, no more weird dream sequences plus its massive lore dump - the player gets dumped right into the middle of things onboard an airship.

The skill equip scene has visual icons for better clarity; this applies to the inventory scene as well.

Every menu has been given a visual overhaul as well.

There are some slight story changes but nothing major; I try to keep the narrative relatively simple and leave the lore in the background for players who like stuff like that :3

But that's it for version 1.1's (really) short update.

I shared some updates a month and a half ago with regards to the sequel (which I promise will be even better than the original game) so here are some new screenshots with original assets drawn by me :3

Instead of a fixed narrative, the player will take on various quests from NPCs and try to uncover the mysteries behind this new skydom, called Liguria. The "gods" (or rather, Divine Beasts in the og Veiled Skies) are angry because the true heir, who has a duty to oversee the protection of these skies, has been missing for over a decade.

As a result, they are unleashing their fury on the unsuspecting denizens of Liguria, starting with violent tempests in and around Kessel, the first town/starting area.

After the player has cleared Kessel and its surrounding areas [you won't be able to use the Dauntless due to the violent winds], they are free to explore the Ligurian skydom in any manner they see fit.

The battle system has been changed as well, with heavy emphasis on maximizing turn actions and delaying foes. Character builds will be centered around Critical, Evasive or Counter-Attacks.

Everything is still really early in development so updates will be few and far in-between. But please look forward to it :D
