Because i paid over 80dollars to buy half-life 2 which came with cs source many many years ago lol. Cs go is garbage compared to source lol.

Its clearly not about to have games free to let people play the games, isnt it? Games without microtransactions wont ever be free. Period.

Same reason TF2 is free but TFC isnt; it makes its money by being a gambling and microtransaction simulator

Cs go have skins but cs:s and cs.1.6 havent any skins by valve EA strategy

people dont understand loot boxes isnt gambling since you get something in return. but yeah like everyone said because mtx is making the money and csgo is just css but for console first(before the console version got no more support)
