You can't right now it's bugged or they just don't allow you to either way tried everything even changing files and nothing worked. It doesn't save it when you set it bigger in the settings so either they are doing that to force people into paying for servers or its a bug.
I have not will give that a shot and see if it works would really be nice to play some more that tether is killing me being dragged around or sticking to each other.

It was in ARK, it's known as the tether system. Sticking with the host= less resource allocation usage because you aren't rendering the entirety of whatever your friends might be getting into. You'd have to have a really strong computer to host/generate multiple accessible areas in this game.
I think it only cranked up to 500m, which sounds like a lot, but it really isn't in the grand scheme of things. In ARK ascended, I'd be wary using it haha.

Also Night of the Dead game made by 2 people in UE4 have no limitation of this
why UE5 devs do something about that, Conan Exiles have that shet as well
