The iphone version of Infinity has the same HD textures as the xbox version of 2.
EDIT: Joke is on the spastic who gave me a jester award: not only am I correct but all you did was give me steam points. You scored an own goal.

What I mean is I can apply a dds compression to the new HD ones and get something quite a bit smaller in terms of size. But it wont be as small as the XBLA rips, nor would you want that. For one thing, a lot of the sprites I created from that first attempt, 10 years ago, like the additional color tables and glow maps, were not all that good as I had a very rudimentary understanding of gimp's advanced tools.
Also do note, this Workshop version also includes Goron's Wall textures and landscapes built in, for ease of installation for steam users. That is a little extra space too.

Just plop it in your Plugin folder for Marathon Infinity folder within steamapps
I would love to completely remove all the HD textures, there are folders and image files, however I'm not sure it will work fine.
