Wasd + numpad worked pretty good for me in thps4, thug2 and thaw, so idk, controller is much better, but it's definitely playable with kb.

You don't even need a numpad to play this on keyboard, just map it out like this:
Insert = Nollie
PgUp = Revert
Delete = Flip
End = Ollie
PdDn = Grab
Home = Grind
Q and E = Spin left/right
