First of all, thank you all for your patience! Since the Early Access version launched a few days ago, there have been a lot of bugs — save files getting corrupted, trees not falling, storage boxes losing items, not being able to exit the game, not being able to load the game, and various other issues. In this update, we’ve switched to a hotfix system for the first time, combined with Unity’s backend that automatically catches bug-causing code and sends it to us. Bugs might be fixed within a few hours and pushed out quickly via hotfix. This way, within just a few days, all kinds of exposed problems in the game should be completely resolved.

This update also fixes the following issues:

1. Fixed the save corruption bug. This was caused by a file operation permission conflict between saving and loading. It’s fixed now. Please delete your old save.

2. Fixed a bug where, when crafting an item, if you selected another item to craft, after the countdown finished, the crafted item icon would be empty and couldn’t be dragged.

3. Fixed a bug where, while crafting, if you took away the required materials mid-process, you could still start crafting again by clicking the craft button even though materials were missing.

4. Reduced the recovery condition for “Laceration”.

5. Fixed an issue where the “Pick up nearby items” tooltip wouldn’t disappear.

6. Hemp rope no longer requires wood to craft.

7. Increased the drop chance of regular logs, and decreased the drop chance of redwood and blackwood.

8. Now the description text for various ores clearly indicates which biome’s rock layer they can be mined from.

9. You can now handcraft some simple traps.

This update doesn’t fix a huge number of bugs — the main thing is switching to the hotfix system. So if you’re among the first players to try this version, you might still run into some old bugs. But don’t worry — we’ll be fixing things very quickly this time. If you encounter an issue, check back for an update in a few hours or half a day — the bug might already be fixed.

Since the game launched, we’ve received many bug reports from players — including save corruption, failed crafting, trees not being chop-able, and various other issues. These problems aren’t caused by individual game systems, but rather by conversion errors with certain strings across different languages and operating systems, which then prevented the normal code from running.

Our current update system is too slow — it only allows one update per day. We’re now switching to a super-fast hotfix system that will let us fix bugs and push updates instantly. Please give us 1–2 days to complete the transition.

Once the new update system is live (expected tomorrow), whenever a player encounters a bug, they won’t even need to report it — our backend will automatically capture the error and the faulty code. Then we’ll fix it and release an update within just a few hours. So if you run into a bug, check back in a few hours, update the game, and it may already be fixed.
