Coming to Steam Next Fest! New Languages, 30,000 Wishlists

Hi everyone! First, we'd like to celebrate 30,000 wishlists by announcing we'll be in the Steam Next Fest in a few weeks!! In other words... we plan to release sometime later in 2025.

In the meantime, with the help of Dragonbaby Localization, we localized the demo into 6 new languages. Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish (LA), Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian! It's now out in Version 9, so please play and enjoy. The demo is the same as last year, but there may be new bugs so just let me know : )

If these are your languages we hope you enjoy and please do share with your communities, as interest in the demo will decide which of these languages we localize into first for the final game (as we don't have the budget to do all of them yet.)

Nothing new to report, but if you're wondering about the demo (and the full version), yes, the game is fully compatible on Steam Deck with Proton. enjoy! The 'steam deck verified' marker will likely not show up until some time after the full release next year

Difficulty question

Is there any gameplay changes outside of no health crystal drops on highest difficulty? Because at first i thought that all the troll traps was tied to highest difficulty (because of it`s description) but it seems that it was not the case.

This game is so weird and awesome but I ran into a weird and not awesome bug.

The PS1 graphics and weird combat and platforming mechanics just cause this game to hit different. Good work. However I ran into a weird bug that soft locked me into a level. I think its a level in a far left quadrant of the map but I don't recall it's name or specific location. I can't backtrack or get out I'm just stuck in one central map spot but without any means of actually telling where to go....

Gun control issue?

So, the demo dude says that your gun "always fires forward". I took this to mean "Your gun always fires in the direction your character is facing." I seem to be running into an issue though where pressing the fire button immediately turns my character north before firing. Is this a bug or intentional behavior?...
