FFFL: Brutalball Manager is a Franchise Management Simulation game, based mostly on American Football in a Fantasy setting. Take full control of the entire league. Tons of customization, deep stat tracking and unique rules.

Animation Update!

New Animations: Added side animations and improved the old animations.

Auto Zoom Camera: Now the camera smoothly follows the action and automatically zooms in on running plays and zooms out when the QB is passing. The auto zoom can be disabled in the escape menu.

New Customizable Sidelines: Added several base sidelines that can be assigned to teams in the TEAM EDITOR. Sidelines can also be customized by adding 1200x8000 .png files to the “\Users”YOUR USER NAME”\AppData\LocalLow\Stout Kassel Games\FFFL\Mods\Field\Sideline" Folder.

Added several new racial variants. Will leave them as a mystery for you to discover.

Added 4 new team logos

Increased the number of players shown in the Box Scores.

NOTE: This update will replace the default Team and Mod file. If you'd like to revert back to the old version (if you did a lot of editing for example), you can by going to “\Users”YOUR USER NAME”\AppData\LocalLow\Stout Kassel Games\FFFL\Mods\DefaultFiles" and deleting the "DefaultTeams.txt" or "ModConfiguration.txt" and renaming the most recent back-up version in that folder.

I just simulated 8 seasons at 76 weeks each. Here's what I found:

Everyone gets richer, especially the rich. Great teams stay great and almost every team improves in overall quality, despite many of them having their rosters half-filled with hooligans. Despite all this, disparity is rampant in later seasons. 10-20 point shutouts become common, and close games and ties become rare. One team had all 8 starters in pink (100-120) overall quality, and went undefeated (76-0-0) in the final season. Another team went winless in the final season. There were a couple new playoff...

Can't sim a season without glitching or crashing.

Whether it's 76 games or 22 games, the game either glitches out or crashes somewhere during the season. I'm wondering if it has to do with injuries accumulating. In my 76-game seasons, injury rate was set to 0.2, and the game crashed at around week 40. In my 22-game seasons, the injury rate was 0.6, and the game typically crashes around week 16-18. I'm thinking maybe this is a graphical issue that could be resolved by an option to skip the sim screen entirely, or at least get rid of the players running a...

Race/Species Frequency?

I cannot make heads or tails of this. What does the numerical value in the mod settings represent, and how does raising/lowering it alter the frequency of a race appearing? Is it possible to create a league with only select races?

This is a great american football manager sim, with a fantasy twist.
It's a ton of fun, can't recommend any fans of football, or football manager, or bloodbowl give it a try.
