These keybinds are not it. Most people are right handed and we are being told to mash with out non dominant hand. I know I'm weak but man am I cramping and I play Osu! The keybinds at least need to be configurable so I can set ability usage on my left hand and mash with my right hand. Also I don't believe parrying is clear. I parry before and during the yellow shield icon and it feels very random about my parry that I can't tell what I'm missing. Perhaps a better indiciator or maybe telling me if I'm late or earlier would be helpful.

Check the Epic NPC Man episode where a newbie joins game and starts going through keybind tutorial. Screen fills with weird combos. I think this simulates that joke / episode perfectly.

Also...butonmashing and accesibility is an issue... Look at dave the diver for a solution on that front

If it's any consolation "button mashing" doesn't seem to be any more effective than just pressing the button roughly at the correct timing.

Also, as you go on there are more options than just mashing the button.

I get the complaint though.. I was playing perfect tower 2 and they want us to use only the left hand for some bosses and it's just awkward. But for this one I just used a controller so it was no big deal.

Even doing the attacks at the actual interval it can happen, is still fast enough to be mashing and cause a lot of pain, for a lot of wrists. And no the other options (the spells) wont be able to replace the attack at all, it will be in addition. It will be painfully slow to reel in fish with the spells only at best, and there is at least one type of fish that has a "heal" that makes it go down, that one would likely be flat out impossible with the regular attack
