Will demo progress carry over

Will the demo progress carry over. Or do i need to do the tutorial again?

No, once you complete the demo it deletes your save.

No, the demo and the full game use different names for the save file.

BTW, you can backup, rename, and edit your save files so you don't have to be at the whims of the game.
Open

%appdata%\..\LocalLow\FusionPlay\Nice Day For Fishing Demo

to see your saved game file. It's plain text.

Also, the quest that ends the demo is the get leather quest (if I remember correctly).
