360 Controller not working - Solution

So I ran into the issue of my 360 pad not working with the game. It took me a while, but I think i figured out the solution. I had to run the game as an Adminstartor, by finding the .eve file in the Steam folders. Not the launcher .exe file, but the main game's. I also disabled my Comodo Antivirus, not sure if that was part of the problem as well. Just wanted to share the info in case any else was having trouble.

The same steam folder area that all your games are saved.
Default is usually - C -programfiles - Steam - Steamapps - common -
Or somewhere thereabouts. Find the main .exe for the game and run it as administrator. That worked for me. Hopeflly it does for you as well.

Happens even with UAC off. It's okay, not every game has to support controllers, especially on a PC. But they shouldn't advertise full controller support on the store page, as they have none.

EDIT: Happens on linux too, where all config files are in the home directory, no permission issues. The engine is simply faulty.
