Revisiting Thief to find a solution to Chapter 7: The Hidden City

I'm back to try getting 100% Ghost in Chapter 7. The best I've seen anyone do is about 85% Ghost, and about 15% Opportunist. I don't know that 100% Ghost is possible but, I think there may be a tricky solution to it, like in Chapter 5: The Forsaken. I just can't figure it out ... yet. I'm back to try a couple more ideas but I'd settle for a spoiler, if anyone knows how to do it.

Chapter 7 is the only one I haven't been able to Ghost 100% while getting all Loot and Collectables. So, I'm also looking to find a way to grab the Collectable from the Thief Taker General in the Rotunda, by sneaking up behind him without him noticing and killing me. I think, with the right configuration (and precise timing), it might be possible.

Anyone have any thoughts?

See my post on this... I've tried for days, even with 'Spectral Aspect'. All my tests were with zero suspicions and detections. I never turned off a single light, didn't leave doors open for people to detect nor used any environmental devices (since that thieving challenge is broken anyway).

1) It doesn't matter if you pick pockets or not.
2) It doesn't matter if you open the cathedral atrium with the lever or don't.
3) If you disable the big trapped floor or take damage, doesn't affect it.
4) If you go the aerial (rope) route into the lift or use the lever doesn't affect it
5) Avoiding or disabling any other trap (Arrows, loot and collectible chest) doesn't matter
6) Taking damage from the TTG or not doesn't affect it.
7) I've got all loot including the TTG or left anything I didn't need for the mission. 7 to 20 % opportunist awarded anyway, seemingly at random.
8) I tried not unlocking the first gate and not using rope arrows to get to the courtyard arrow chest.

Like you, I wonder if it's something daft like knocking off the light in the syringe room of 'The Forsaken' before picking up the syringe.

Also like you, I haven't found it.
