Difference between ROW version and Global version ?
I got my hands recently on the definitve edition key from another site using a coupon, but I noticed that I got the ROW version.

Is there a significant difference between global and ROW version?
Also, if I had brought the key from steam, would i have received the ROW version or the Global version ?
Since im from Italy, any fellow countrymen here in the forum that can tell me what steam version they got?

Sometimes there are 2 iterations of the same game (Fallout New Vegas has it)

If you go to SteamDB and type those games in (also, Dishonored 1) you will see 2 instances of that game. 1 global and 1 RHCP/PCR. Those letters refer to the region that iteration is locked behind

If I buy FNV PCR, I get a game, although with possibility of playing it in original English language, but I do not get the same "community" as global one. Fallout New Vegas PCR has like 1/10th of the population of global version

That means that these steam discussions and artwork and everything will be only from the people of that iteration of the game, and not the global once, which basically sucks

Make sure you check on SteamDB to see if the game you are buying has just 1 Global version of it so you don't end up buying the "inferior" version

As for Dying Light it seems that this ROW doesnt actually affect anything, its just that the package cannot be activated in like 50 countries

if i activated in Italy and in case i emigrate to one of those countries, i won't play the game if im there ?
seriously can't Valve add the GOG key activation procedure that identifies the key and then ask you if you want to activate it ?

Like I said, there's just 1 iteration of Dying Light, but other games that I mentioned have different iterations. I think if you buy RHCP version of the game, you will be condemned to polish/russian steam forum for that game forever, even if you change location

You are totally fine with DL, however
