As far as I googled, there is no GTX 220, probably You have GT 220. This card meets minimum requirements for DirectX 10 card, but notice that it will work rather very slowly. When looking at graphic cards with Nvidia chipset the fist number means the generation (Yours is 2nd) and the two other numbers means how much effects this card can handle at the same time (Yours is only x20, while max is x90). Better think about upgrading Your card. Especially when Dying Light will support DirectX 11 which is not supported by GT 220.

If you've got a gt 220, then I pressume you have a pretty old system. Specs would help with a recommendation, because there's no point putting a 780 in a system with a core 2 duo, 2gb of RAM and a PSU that isn't big enough

Okay then, as long as you have a big enough PSU and something like an i5 or an i7 with 4 gigs of RAM, go with what you can afford, a 760 will probably run most things at 1080p like a champ. I've got a 770, 1 card above and thats great too, but if you want you can go with a 780, if you really wan't top of the line, but personally i'd say the 770 is the best value for max settings at 1080p on Nvidia side, but I don't know much about AMD, but a R9 280X should be comparable I think

Get a 760, it's alot cheaper than a 770 and there's not enough of a difference to spend more on it.

if i was you w8 for the 800 series to be released than the other cards wil drop in price

I'd buy a Nvida GTX 650 ti , I bought it early december at around 180 ish , so it should be a bit cheaper now.
